His face is hidden under a smeary mass, it sticks in his hair, covering him like a second skin. The dancer washes himself, over and over again, scrapes and scratches, rubs and tears, combs and fights. The camera follows the dancer, far from the stage and behind the scenes. The film invites us to witness a ritual, a cleansing, a most intimate process.
